Research dialogues can have graphs, screenshots and externally made graphics embedded. Make sure they are separate from each other. For instance, a graph that is generated by code may differ from an externally generated picture even though they both are stored in the same PNG format.
Does a PNG extension tell me whether SynthID is present?
No. PNG describes the image format and doesn’t define its origin or content of a watermark.

Determine the image, video and audio models which have resulted in the creation of your file. A watermark review for media does not consider the origin of a written answer.
The model name is not an indicator of SynthID in the image. Results will depend on the particular image you use. SynthID remover cannot be guaranteed to work for all kinds of AI labels or image provenance information.
