Imagen 3 and Imagen 4 image exports

Imagen is an entirely separate group of images compared to the group of Nano Banana images from Gemini. Any saved Imagen 3 & Imagen 4 output data can still be used in any kind of image processing even if the original generation API is now defunct.

Check the original Imagen file

Do not take a screenshot or thumbnail. Just use the downloaded image. Note the name of the image model and when it was generated if known. The presence of the filename Imagen does not necessarily mean detection.

Process an Imagen image

Upload a PNG, JPG or WebP file up to 4 MB and 2 Megapixels. The image should be processed and downloaded after that in PNG format. The process allows you to test one image for free by each individual user; the extra processed images will require using credits.

Review realistic details and product images

Compare face elements, hands, texture details, reflecting surfaces and product names. Take care to save the original composition for easy detection of any changes made during the process. With transparent files, check the borders against two backgrounds: dark and light.

Verify SynthID after processing

Visual quality of an image is irrelevant to the detectability of changes in it. Perform detecting the image only with the appropriate method; it should apply to this particular downloaded PNG file.
