Does NotebookLM audio contain SynthID?

Detection of Google podcast generation based on NotebookLM audio watermarking is noted in Google Watermarking Uses. Evaluate the actual exported recording and use compatible detection service in order to get results for an individual recording.

Why the original recording matters

Keep the original overview downloaded along with the timestamp and associated project name. Avoid replacement with a video or chat messenger record used for testing for the first time. Different conversions affect files used for tests.

Speech quality is more than background noise

Pay attention to distortions of consonants, lost words, odd pauses, and speaker properties. If names, numbers, and dates are in the overview, listen to them in the context of the original. A transcription will help with recognition of losses while the quality of audio remains undetected.

NotebookLM audio removal support

At present, our public processor accepts images only. The audio process testing is currently underway. There is currently no proven case of any results of removing NotebookLM on this particular service.

Checking an edited Audio Overview

Evaluate both the original and its processed version, obtain the detection results from one processor service and compare them. Log all unsupported and inconclusive results. A negative result does not influence creation mode of the recording.
