When considering a thumbnail graphic or social graphic, one should observe the outlines of the subject and see what is readable in the reduced-size version. Look into this further: sometimes you don't see details about edges of the outline in the thumbnail because it hides it away.
Can I upload an enlarged thumbnail?
Even though the thumbnail could be the correct file format, enlarging it will not help you see any details from the original creation.
